Torfaen Training Awards 2018

Torfaen Training host their second Awards Ceremony which aims to showcase and celebrate the outstanding achievements of their learners, employers and practitioners who have exceeded expectations throughout the year.

Following on from last year’s awards success the search has begun to find those who have gone that extra mile to develop their skills. Training Officers are already submitting nominations in advance of the closing deadline of 30th March and there are expected to be an even higher number of entries than last year.

The categories are as follows:

  • Traineeship of The Year
  • Foundation Apprenticeship of The Year
  • Apprenticeship of The Year
  • Higher Apprenticeship of The Year
  • Employer of The Year
  • Practitioner of The Year

This years Awards Ceremony will take place in May at the Life Station Trevethin, Pontypool and the winners of each category will be entered into the Apprenticeship Awards Cymru 2018. Torfaen Training were very proud to have two finalists in this prestigious award last year - Kelly Nancarrow and Rebecca Crook.

Jonathan Marquis - Traineeship of The Year 2017

Rebecca Sweeny – Foundation Apprentice of The Year 2017

Amie Smith - Apprentice of the year 2017

Rebecca Crook – Higher Apprenticeship of The Year 2017.

Finalist at the Apprenticeship Awards Cymru 2017 in the category of Higher Apprenticeship.

Kelly Nancarrow – Practitioner of The Year 2017.

Finalist at the Apprenticeship Awards Cymru 2017 in the category of Work-based Learning Assessor of the year.

SRS – Employee of The Year 2017
